The Healing Centre environment

We aim to create a joyful environment where you will feel the presence and peace of God. Laughter is an aspect of joy (and good medicine) and if people are laughing it will be because of joy, not a lack of compassion.

We will ask you to simply enjoy being in the environment for a while, and then we will invite you to be prayed for. Our experience is that some people get healed simply by being in the atmosphere of God’s presence and some with prayer.

Please feel free to stay after you have been prayed with, in fact we would recommend this. Of course you are free to depart when you feel ready We would anticipate you needing to set aside at least 45 minutes for a visit to the Healing Centre.

Will I get healed?

Our expectation is that many people will be healed through the work of the Healing Centre. We cannot claim at the moment that everyone we pray for gets healed, but we are certainly seeing an increase. Some people get healed instantly (some even without prayer), some as they leave the building, some over the next few hours and some gradually.

For those with no obvious healing at the time, we would like to think that you will leave with a sense of being loved and cared for, with increased hope and the realisation that you are welcome to come back so that we can pray for you again.

Some practical points

Access

Access is not ideal for those with mobility difficulties, but we will try to help anybody with such problems. Alternatively you are more than welcome to attend our Sunday morning meeting at Northfleet Technology College which has excellent access and if you ask we will ensure that someone prays with you.

Parking

The parking bays outside at the rear of the Healing Centre can be used. They are normally reserved for employees of Launch Diagnostics (and are labelled with their name) but they have kindly given permission for us to use them for the Healing Centre. If these bays are full there are 2 large car parks either side of Centre Road, less than a minute's walk away.

People under the age of 16

Please note that for anyone below the age of 16 years we require that a responsible adult is with them at all times.
