Prayer - talking with God

Why is prayer so important? Why so many 'prayer meetings'? Because at its heart, the Christian faith is all about a loving relationship with God and when you love someone you want to spend time with them and talk to them. That's what prayer is: spending time talking with God.

God is a loving father and he is looking for those with whom he can share his heart. He wants us to partner with him in what he's doing and he wants us to share his passion and power. It's no conincidence that our main prayer meeting is called Power House!
Power House

Power House is a meeting for the whole church to get together to pray, seek and encounter God. Often there will be a focus on a specific area of church life.

Men's Prayer Meeting

Once a month the men of the church have an opportunity to get together to pray and seek God.

Intercessory Prayer

An opportunity for us to partner with God in prayer. We pray, worship, soak and often do "prophetic acts". We ask God to show us what he is doing and we partner with him, praying what's on his heart and as we do we experience God's compassion for situations.

We love to see Isaiah 61 fulfilled and everyone knowing Father God and we would love you to join us.

Pre Service Prayer

A time for worship and prayer before our main Sunday meeting starts - an excellent way to prepare for the main meeting. Arrive when you like and stay as long as you want.

Prayer on the Streets

Once a month teams go out to pray in Gravesend and other areas, simply walking praying, prophecying and make declarations (a form of intercession) over that area.

Our heart is to see God's kingdom reign in North Kent and beyond we believe that what we pray and speak over Gravesend and North Kent makes a difference. God is reconciling the world to himself - 2 Cor 5:18-19.

Response Team

A team who are willing to be called on, sometimes at short notice, to visit and pray with those in need, in particular, those with long term illness, or those who find it difficult to get out.
