Whereas our purpose ("to be a worshipping community, devoted to Jesus and reaching out to others with his love and power") is what we aim to demonstrate in everything we do at any time, our current vision (shown above) reflects what we're aiming to accomplish right now. In other words, it will change as the church moves forward.

Our vision isn't simply the result of human thinking - we believe God has guided us in our plans for the future. Our current vision statement is closely linked with NKCC's plans to become an area church serving Gravesend and the towns and villages of North Kent and to have its own building (see the Springhead page for more details about this). As we move closer to seeing this vision become reality, so our vision statement will change.

How has God guided us in forming this vision? Mainly by prophecies brought to us by people both within and outside NKCC. Together they provide a clear picture of what we believe God is guiding us to do.
